Folks, the recent week has seen devastation and loss of life in Maui, Hawaii unlike we have seen in many years. Our hearts go out to the people of that Island. In solidarity with them, I would ask you to pray with me:
Dear Lord in Heaven,
We pray today for everyone hurt or impacted by the tragic wildfires in Maui. We pray for the souls of those who lost their lives. We pray for those who lost family members or friends in the fire. We pray for those who lost their homes, their boats or their property. We pray for healing and restoration for those who encountered these losses. Last but not least, we pray for our great nation, the United States of America.
In Jesus' great name we pray,

I encourage folks to fly to Maui and volunteer there with the American Red Cross if at all possible, at www.redcross.org and if that is not possible, to contribute monetarily to their relief fund: www.redcross.org/local/hawaii/get-help/hawaii-wildfires-response-.html
